I know that I?ve covered craft room organization before but recently I have found some great and unique ideas I?d like to share with you. ?For most of us, craft spaces are limited and keeping them organized is a double challenge. ?Use some of these techniques and not only will your space be organized and functional, it will be fun!

Plastic or glass jars that are purchased at super stores can be a low cost way to organize your small items such as stamps, bows and craft paper. ?Label them or etch the glass for a custom look. ?By using clear materials you can always see what you have inside. ?You can even reuse containers you have around the house such as old food storage containers, cracker containers, etc.

Pegboards are a gal?s best friend in a craft space. ?They allow you to store a lot in a little amount of space. ?They are inexpensive to purchase, easy to install and can be painted any color you want. ?Think outside of the box and you will realize that with the right hooks (which can be purchased at your local hardware or home improvement store) you can store just about anything using vertical space.

This next tip is such a simple one but its often over looked. ?Buy some cute containers and use them to hold all of your tools, pens, markers etc. ?I love the idea of using pots that you aren?t using in the garden. ?They can be painted, stenciled and customized. ?(Have your kids paint them for a cute look and a great present for your favorite crafter.) ?In New England we have stores that sell items like pots very inexpensively such as The Christmas Tree shops and Ocean State Job Lot.

Binders can also be a great asset in a craft room. ?Again, they allow you to use vertical storage. ?Use divided page protectors that you can purchase at a craft store or an office supply store to organize and keep small embellishments, patterns and other small supplies in binders. ?Then label the outside of the binders and put them on a shelf!
