Porcelain Heart, Ivory Tooth: Red Shoes and Humanities Essays

See those shoes up there? I finally, FINALLY found a pair of
red shoes after wanting a pair of red shoes for the last three months and I
LOVE them! Bonus? They were only $15!

School has been great. My humanities class is definitely one of my favourite classes so far, and in a week we have an essay due that I am so excited about. I?ve already started it, and aside from a few touches and revamps, it?s almost done. My professor gave the class three subject matters to choose from and naturally I chose the one dealing with a cemetery. He wants us to go visit one and talk about how the tombstones and statues resemble Greek architecture along with some other fun things he has thrown into the mix. He also had a little sentence underneath stating that it would be cool to write this essay from the point of view from a deceased entombed there at the cemetery, so I?m going that route. Big surprise, right? I love creative writing and I can't wait to see how my essay turns out.

Speaking of creative writing, on Thursday evening I finally finished Paper Towns by John Green, and I absolutely loved that book. At times some of the moments in the book reminded me of moments in my youth. Overall, the book was incredible and the subject matter was well thought out and very, very unique. I hate doing reviews on books; so that?s going to be the closest you?ll get out of me.

Last night, Wade & I went over to my parents to celebrate my step Dad?s birthday and it was really nice spending time with them, it always is, but last night we had so much fun talking and laughing.

I hope everyone has a perfect weekend! I probably won?t be posting again until maybe the middle of the week, so hopefully you have a good week as well!
