Overtime Bidding

Why did the auction closing time extend by 10 minutes after I placed my bid? This is called "Popcorn" Bidding: Bids placed within 10 minutes prior to a lot's scheduled closing time will extend the closing time on that lot an additional 10 minutes. This gives all bidders an opportunity to place a competing bid. All lots will close when there have been no bids placed within the last remaining 10 minutes.

Max Bid

Your Max Bid is the most you are willing to pay for an auction item. Consider placing a Max Bid if you don?t have time to monitor an auction. Your Max Bid won't be displayed to other bidders, but will be displayed as the current bid based on the bidding increment. You won?t pay the Max Bid amount unless another bid bumps you up to the next increment.

Watching Items

You can monitor items you're interested in without placing a bid by selecting Watch This Item after you've logged into your account. Now you can keep track of the closing date, next minimum bid and number of bids from your Account page. We?ll email you a reminder to bid the morning items you are watching close. You can remove an item from your watch list from your Account page or by clicking the Watch button again.

Closing Time

This is the time the auction will end, but "Popcorn Bidding" could add 10 minutes to the closing time. If a bid is placed within 10 minutes of the closing time, the auction will extend by 10 minutes. This allows competing bidders a chance to stay in the race.

Deepdale Golf Club is a preeminent private club welcoming a diverse membership of men and women united by their common love of the game of golf.

Deepdale is located on the rolling hills of northern Nassau County, and the 'new' course here is a Dick Wilson design that replaced the original 1924 C.B. Macdonald layout when the Long Island Expressway came through in the 1950s.

The course features 6,623 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70 . The course rating is 72.6 and it has a slope rating of 135. It was designed by Dick Wilson, and opened in 1956.
